A beautiful swallowtail butterfly!
Iris in Ink's garden
Little birds foraging
Rocky got at the bird feeder again. I blame Himself who left his wagon in easy leaping range.
The moon at sunset. The sky color is what my late father-in-law would call Sky-Blue Pink
Queen Anne's Lace about to bloom
Daisies
This bird decided to hang out in the new feeder. I can't tell if the bird's weight closed the hopper. Maybe it was a case of if I can't have any seed, no one can have any seed.
Himself installed a hook and eye lock so no kitties can perform a Houdini. The lock can be fastened through the window so we can get air in the sunroom, and Himself can unlock the door when he's done playing in his garden.
How does your garden grow?
"LOL". I have a tattoo honoring my parents. Dad named me "Iris" because he was an optometrist. Mom thought of the flower...
ReplyDeleteMy strawberries are all red, I have no idea what to do, sour, cause it´s so cold, why did they grow, can you explain? They are wood-strawberries... Let them ripe even more? Warm weather predicted for... Thursday!
I'm not a gardener so have no clue about your strawberries. Maybe put the question out to the T Day ladies? One of them may have gardening experience.
DeleteEverything's coming up roses . . . erm, daisies, and Rocky obviously keeps a close eye on goings-on in your garden.
ReplyDeleteSky-blue pink - that's perfect.
I always thought that color was a perfect description.
DeleteMiss Maddie was a Houdini dog and could even get out of her crate. But that lock looks like it is in a good spot to keep anyone from escaping. And my aunt used to always say sky-blue-pink. Thanks for reminding me of her. Your yard is looking great. Isn't it great to see butterflies? Have a super rest of your weekend CJ.
ReplyDeleteNot many butterflies around so it was very exciting
DeleteLovely tour of your yard and Garden CJ... Queen Anne's Lace always reminds me of picking wildflowers for my mom when i was little... We had lots of fields around our house and the edges were filled with all kinds of wildflowers.... Hugs! deb
